Reading Christina Obry post regarding Lumira’s unified visualization experience: How to convert my existing SAP Lumira Cloud visualizations I decided to take a look.
What is nice about Lumira Cloud is I am not waiting for any desktop installation update. This is great - it is available to everyone all at once.
First, one of my new favorite features is "related visualizations". It allows me not to "think" about what I want to visualize. I hope it doesn't make me lazier
You can see on the right by clicking the light bulb I can select "related visualizations". I find this to be helpful.
Next, we first saw at BI2014 Infographics (see BI 2014 Keynote - World Premiere of Infographics with Lumira), and now it is available on the Lumira Cloud.
I tried doing my first one here:
I can insert my visualizations, texts, pictures, pictograms, etc. I can see I am going to have to learn more about how to create Infographics and use them. Please see Bernard Marr's article at https://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20140612054242-64875646-what-the-heck-are-infographics-and-why-you-should-use-them?trk=mp-reader-card
His tips are to keep it simple, be sure you have a message you want to convey, tell a story, etc.
Additionally I can publicly/privately share my InfoGraphic - see https://cloud.saplumira.com/open?key=539C6B95467A1120E10000000A4E4243&type=HANALYTIC
As shown above I can edit my InfoGraphic.
Lastly, I was notified this morning that my *idea* on Idea Place (see ideas.sap.com) was implemented - https://ideas.sap.com/D11822
Here is proof:
Bar charts (not just column charts) are here in Lumira Cloud.
I will continue to test this out but you can test it out for free at cloud.saplumira.com
