From Bill McDermott’s keynote to the Fiori Café to the customer sessions talking about UX, there was definite interest and desire to reinvent the SAP user experience. Bill McDermott announced in his keynote that all customers deserve a “simple, gorgeous user experience with SAP”, that “SAP Fiori is a winner” and ultimately that SAP Fiori UX is now included within underlying licenses of SAP software.

Fiori Café
Attendees could get a caffeine buzz at the Fiori café AND learn all about our user experience strategy, solutions and services. The café, located in Downtown on the SAPPHIRE NOW showfloor, was constantly busy as attendees talked with UX experts and were able to get their photo on a magazine cover.
User experience was a hot topic in the Platform & Technology Campus. At first, attendees wanted to know what SAP Fiori UX was and then later in the week, there were more technical questions focused on implementation, extensibility and security. Participants also attended packed demo theater and microforum sessions focused on how to create a UX center of excellence, how to increase productivity through personalization with SAP Screen Personas and how to create and extend apps that apply the SAP Fiori UX.
Customer Sessions about UX
Speakers from Nestle, Unilever and Freescale Semiconductor highlighted their experience with UX and the benefits that a better UX is bringing to their companies. If you missed the sessions, you can watch the replays now:
