There are some customers lately reported extremely bad performance when using the 7.40 SP8 preput. Mass activation in ACT_UPG phase took very long time with activating huge queues. Now note 2105466 addresses the issue. A new preput for release 7.40 SP8 will be released which will finally resolve the issue. For the time being, you can use the workaround mentioned in note 2105466 to resolve the problem.
